On January 3rd my friends and I had a soup Kitchen where we fed and provided medical attention to approximately 1000 less privileged people in Obalende, Lagos. Prior to the event, we had about 90 people who volunteered to help serve these people. Because we wanted coordination and team spirit we needed to get shirts for all the volunteers.Initially we asked the volunteers to pay $15 (N2k5) to secure a shirt however only 2 people did this, so this lack of funds crippled any efforts to get shirts made earlier. Fortunately by the 28th of December my team had surpassed our budget so we could afford to make shirts for our volunteers for free.We contacted Abbey Shirts by the 30th, sent him our logo and how we wanted it placed on the shirts. With only 3 days to work – and one of them being a public holiday – Abbey really pulled through. Although the shirts cost us N1k5 each, I was super impressed. In fact not only did he understand the vision I had in mind for the shirt, but he was able to execute it tremendously well.I’d give Abbey Shirts a 4 out of 5. He has a great work ethic and a good artistic eye needed in his line of business.
