AD by Agbani Darego is a very popular brand. I mean, who doesn’t know Agbani Darego?
I heard about the AD by Agbani Darego sales via Jumia and decided to purchase something (it’s my year of new clothes, goodbye makeup).
AD by Agbani Darego explores minimalist chic to perfection and they promise clean, sophisticated luxury.
Anyways, I checked out the items they had and was particularly interested in the Ivory shift dress, which came in just 3 sizes (S,M,L). My sixth sense warned me not to try, but I decided to order the large since it was made with elastane and viscose which stretch.
Ordering was pretty easy as it was via the Jumia website. I got a call and an email confirming my order and within 2 days, my Item was available. The dress, which cost 6,600 NGN, went for 3,300 NGN thanks to the sales.

Anyways, I was asked to inspect before paying, and I’m glad I did because even with elastane and viscose, it was obviously not going to be my size. I felt really bad because I was pretty excited to own the dress!
I have no rating for AD by Agbani Darego (I’m too sad to rate) but my advice is larger sizes should be made available, because plus size people are also trendy and fashionable.
I’ve been thinking of buying their gladiator sandals as they look like they might be sturdier than some of the paper shoes I see on Jumia. Fingers crossed!
