My sister and I needed to lodge for the weekend. Tbh, the power situation on campus is highly depressing. We found Alfredo hotels via Jovago. Locating Alfredo hotels wasn’t really difficult as it’s on a popular street in Aguda.

When we got to the hotel, tbh I thought we were in the wrong place because it didn’t look like a hotel. In my sister’s words, it looked like a “Knack House”. I really wasn’t bothered because the room we got cost 4950 NGN per night, so I wasn’t expecting Oriental hotel, Southern Sun, Four Points or Blowfish standards.

Anyways, we paid for the 2 nights and we were showed our room.

Alfredo has just 2 floors. The ground floor where the reception is and the first floor where the rooms are. Apparently, majority of the rooms are still under construction. Our room had the basics; an almost clean bathroom and toilet, a big bed, flat screen TV with just 3 local channels, a rusted non working fridge, a non working iron, non working kettle and a collapsed mirror.

What I liked:

The bed, minus the bed sheet. It was really comfortable.
The air conditioner
The generator, especially in the evenings.
The pepper soup! We ordered pepper soup and it was delicious. It cost 500 NGN per plate.

What I didn’t Like:

The sheets were burnt; I’m guessing iron marks.
The noise! There is a lounge at the entrance of the hotel and it was in full force during our stay.
Drinks and Food were quite expensive, so we got our items from outside. Imagine indomie noodles going for 800 NGN!
The instability of power. The generator stays on from 2pm till dawn and there is no light in the morning except on request.

In conclusion, I won’t rate Alfredo because I believe we got our money’s worth tbh, but just know what you’re getting into if you decide to book this hotel!

Looool????? I was waiting for Alfredo Suites review. Yeah and I am the sister she was with!.
Well for 4950, we weren’t soooo disappointed.
