    My flight to Owerri from Abuja was cancelled by Arik due to “operational reasons” in a rather unpalatable manner. My ticket number and booking reference are 725 21089 75326 and IDQSWN respectively.

    I made a refund request at the Arik Air counter at the airport on December 6, 2016 and was told that I will get a refund in 21 days. Up to this moment I have not heard from Arik Air. I have sent several emails to Arik Air concerning the refund and there is no response from them whatsoever. How can airline that really wants to succeed in the industry be so callous and unprofessional?

    I really need the refund of my payment of N48,799 for the round trip ticket. I used my ATM card to make the payment and the cash left my account immediately. It is, therefore, incomprehensible to me why the refund should take so long. What is more annoying is the lack of response from the Arik Air on the matter.

    My flight from Lagos to London was really cool,it was an awesome experience however from London to Lagos was nothing to write home about. The food was horrible,the TV screen was not working. The reason given was that a local plane was used for an international flight,what a stupid reason!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I made an online booking for Ibadan to Abuja some 2months ago I received a mail that it was an incomplete booking, I immediately made a call to Arik centre and was told they had some IT issues but within 30mins I would get the ticket. I never did.
    2 days before the trip on the 11th, I went to one of their centres in Abuja to report, I was asked to fill a form which I did but nothing came out of it.
    The night before the trip I made another call to Arik and was told they still IT/email issues but were working on rectifying it and would get back to me even if by text, till the time I was to travel no one contacted me and I was unable to contact your centre nor did I get any mail or text.
    I ended up buying another Arik ticket that day to enable me travel back from Ibadan to Abuja.
    On landing, I went straight to the Arik desk at the airport and filled another form was told you the IT/email issues hadnt been resolved.
    Two weeks later I reported again at the Arik office and was asked to fill another form similar to that which I had been filling which i still did. I also sent mails to their customer desk relations which I still did and today more than 2 months after Arik has NEVER contacted me nor reversed the deducted payment for the incomplete booking.

    I have never met another organisation with such terrible customer relations. This is the 4th time I have had issues with them on reversals or refunds and the story is the same, there has been no improvement in their sevrices in this regards over a span of 4years. It is a big shame.

      I have a similar experience with Arik Ailine. Their customer service is the worst I have experienced for a long time. The girls manning their office in Hamdala Hotel, Kaduna are very rude and lack the competence to work for customer service. I asked them for their names and they refused to tell me, possibly they are scared I would report them to their superior. I also wonder why they are not wearing name tags.
      I made a booking which I cancelled over a month ago and I keep calling the customer service numbers and nobody has ever picked the calls.

      I don’t know what to do

    I have flown Arik air about 4 times in the past 6 months Lon-Los-Lon and I must say that the service is a joke. On all the occasions, the entertainment system didn’t work and the excuse was always something flimsy. My most recent trip was 3 days ago Los – Lon and even though the flight was due to leave at 12 noon, 12.30 we were still on the tarmac, but was any information given to us? no. Also when it comes to food, they will always, always run out of the popular choice of chicken. my last trip saw a air hostess telling a passenger that it was beef or nothing. shameful. My last trip from Lon-Los at the check in desk saw us being asked to place our computers and hand bags inside our hand luggage. when did arik air become Easyjet or Ryanair not that it is on their website neither does it apply to the return leg. I could go on. but trust me. the only thing Arik has going for it is their flight timing and luggage allowance. the rest is just intolerable

    Arik Air is West Africa's largest commercial
    airline. I'm really happy we have them here in Nigeria. My experience with them was awesome. It now operates a fleet of 23 state-of-
    the art regional, medium haul and long haul
    aircraft including two Airbus A340-500 making
    the airline the first operator of the wide bodied
    aircraft in Africa. Wooooow! This is too much mehn!!! I can say they are truly the best in Africa. And of course, u can book flights on website and their prices are very affordable. For that next business trip, make sure u fly with Arik Air !
