The Association of Medical students, University of Lagos (AMSUL) was having a dinner/award night and it was my first dinner so I decided to go for a new look. I asked around for recommendations on good salons in the area, as I didn’t have the time to leave campus. Beauty4Ashes came highly recommended so I gave them a try.

Their prices are quite affordable. Got my weave fixed for #1,200 and my eyebrows done for #200.

The stylist who fixed me up was quite knowledgable. She recommended a wash and deep conditioning (cost an additional #300). I also let her do whatever she thought would look best on me and I wasn’t disappointed.

Beauty4ashes also does Braids (for 4k), Ghana Weaving (for 3k), Pedicure and Manicure (for 1k5, I believe). Fixing of Nails cost #500 and #1,200 (normal and powder respectively). Please contact them to verify prices though.

The salon is beautiful, and really up to standard. It’s quite spacious and very colorful.

I enjoyed getting my hair done at Beauty4ashes. I see myself visiting this salon more often.
