Common Sense Group (CSG) offers numerous services including Real Estate, Travels & Tours, Book Publishing, Training and Seminars, etc (checkout their website for more), but I’ll be reviewing one of their conferences which I attended.
It was a Saturday evening. My friend and I had been invited for a conference in Victoria Island tagged “MatriMoney” by Olumide Emmanuel, a business guru of the common sense group (CSG). He is one of the nation’s leading success coaches, motivational speakers and wealth creation agents.
Admission was free for all and the conference was scheduled for 6pm, red carpet started at 5pm. Mofe Oyatogun, an OAP with 101.5fm, was the compere. My friend and I arrived late and the space was fully packed with attendees. We’d missed out on some of the items outlined for the evening. However, there were guest appearances by Eben, comedy by I go die and DJ Mordu.
Programme: Personally, I felt Olumide blew his trumpet despite the given brochure, which was pretty explicit. He went on and on and I was bored. My friend was startled by Olumide’s discussion about his “fingerprint investment club” which invites members of the public to invest a minimum of N5,000 every month with guaranteed 10%, 15%,20% return on your investment per annum (depending on tenure). By joining this investment club, you become a millionaire with ease (e.g. with N10,000 per month, you become a millionaire in five years guaranteed). Appears all cool but sounds like wonder bank to me. My friend, who was at the event with me and an ex-banker, said to me kennie “hell no I cannot invest my money with this man”.
Overall, I wouldn’t mind attending another CSG conference in the future.
Have you been to Common Sense Group conferences/seminars or utilized any of their services? What was your experience like? How would you rate the price/service? Please share your experience…

At the moment I will advise anyone not to put his money into any of their investment as they are unable to to pay clients who are due to collect their money. If you visit them they tell all sort of excuses. They are now a scam.
