Few weeks to my professional exams calamity struck: my laptop hard drive crashed! I was so close to having a heart attack. Basically my whole life was on my laptop, and also, all school books and stuff were all there too. There was no time to mourn what was already lost (I lost over 400 movies!!!). I decided to look for a way to fix it, especially as my warranty had unfortunately expired a week before the incident.
I took to google, and I landed on Nairaland, and I got to hear of cybercoms limited. In fact, everybody had good things to say about them including how very affordable they were, so I decided to give them a try.
I added them up on bbm and explained my predicament, and the rep was asking basic questions, like what type of laptop it was, the memory size, if I wanted something lower, operating system, and so on. I told him the memory size and apparently, it cost 10,000 naira, and he kept on asking if I wanted something smaller as that would cost me less. One thing about me though, I take pride in telling people that my laptop has a capacity 0f 500gb, unlike others with 200gb and so on, it makes me feel big Lol.
Back to the matter, I got there and I met him, and apparently, they didn’t have the 500gb, so they had to buy outside. While waiting with my friend, the rep entertained us, got us drinks, tried to chat with us, just for time to pass by.
I’d thought the 10k covered the workmanship, but he explained that it was for only the hard drive, and that workmanship was 5k. I was able to beat down the price to 3k, as a naija babe. The installation and all took about 5 hours (Long, tiring process).
Cybercoms does not only deal with repairs, they also handle sales and networking (e.g. they sell phones, laptops, hard drives, laptop and phone accessories etc).
I’d recommend Cybercoms to everyone and I rate them an 8 over 10. I pray not to have any problem with my laptop again, but if it does happen, I am heading over to the well trusted Cybercoms Limited.
