We stayed at this American style bed & breakfast (has 10 rooms total) for a week and a half in April 2014 and what a delightful hidden gem in Abuja! Secure, safe and serene is how we would describe it ‘cos you’re in Maitama (exclusive residence in Abuja) and next to some sort of “police house” where they have tanks (we kid you not) on every street corner, so you feel extremely safe and secure! Meanwhile within the compound are lush tropical gardens, including royal palms, and intricate courtyard complete with a golden antique car….which adds to the ambiance and gives it a luxurious millionaire feel. Inside is a quaint and modern bed and breakfast with a lounge that will instantly make you feel at home. The beds are super comfy with luscious down comforters, and the rooms have all the cool amenities like free wifi, flat screens, cable TV, hot showers, and more (including a free breakfast). They even have a jazz night the first Friday of every month, and the food is delicious (don’t leave without trying the Pepper Soup)….overall we had an excellent stay at a bargain price–within the confines of a serene paradise.!!! We give it a 5 Star rating hands down!!
