Reception
My family decided we would go for brunch after Church at 11am. We had heard Ekaabo Restaurant Intercontinental did excellent buffet so we decided we’d see for ourselves. The reception was friendly and warm. Staff clearly looked like they enjoyed their job.
The layout of the place is fantastic. Aesthetically pleasing; clean and welcoming. The green and white poka-dot table clothes weren’t much to write home about; a white tablecloth would have sufficed. The green and white; while patriotic, didn’t match anything in the building. As much as the table cloth wasn’t to my liking, the layout of the food was excellent. With food that tasted as good as they looked, the tablecloth was a distant memory.
Buffets have a tendency of being a little shabby; brunch in Intercontinental was anything but. They had a lovely variety of food; in my group of 6 each averaging 3-4 platefuls, we still weren’t able to sample everything.
We went on a Sunday, and the music was wonderful. Initially just a guy on the piano and a guy on the sax. Then at 1pm – singers joined in. It was entertaining, fun and put a smile on everyone’s face. They interacted well with diners just the right amount, because ultimately people came to eat not to a concert. They were good enough we asked if they could come to Delta State to be a band for a traditional wedding. Unfortunately they don’t leave Lagos.

I’ve been here on 2 occasions! I love their food! And I was going to review the place o, but I couldn’t remember the names of the meals I had tbh! Yea @efe, it’s around that price. 13,500 if I remember.
I don’t know if it’s value for money tbh, because just like Viola, I didn’t have the opportunity to taste everything.
I hear it costs 13,500 naira per head! ??
