I had disposed of my etisalat sim card due to some stalker issues/other personal reasons and decided to get a new sim. My friend had given me a new etisalat sim, however, I had to get it registered. So I headed to the etisalat experience centre on Ojuelegba Road in Surulere.
The Ojuelegba etisalat experience center is quite conspicuous with very large signage, and is located next to a bookstore and boutique. There is parking for about 2 cars and street parking is not available.
I was welcomed into the store by a huge security guard who didn’t seem too happy. I’m not saying you should smile at me o, but please try to not look so unhappy…comes off as being a little rude. Anyway, the security guard handed me a form to fill. Upon filling out the form, I was told to have a seat and wait my turn.
I was called upon 30 minutes later to register my sim card. The process is pretty simple and requires fingerprinting. However, the individual who attended to me was occasionally rude and barked out commands, but I was too tired to complain. Overall, the registration process lasted less than 30 minutes.
Sim registration is free but after registering, it is advisable to buy airtime on the sim for proper activation. Airtime is also sold at the experience centre so this makes everything easy.
I will rate this experience centre a 6 over 10 as I didn’t have to wait too long. However, the attendant I worked with was very unpleasant, to say the least.
