Now this was a very expensive treatment and a nice gift from a friend. It cost about 15k per person and this friend booked 2 appointments for my sister and I at 9 am in the morning. It was early but it was a great way to start the day. My sister and I were a bit late, we got there at 9:40 and once we arrived we were greeted by the greenness and beauty of the spa.
It is a really clean space and it is bright. We were ushered into the sauna by two beautiful black and impeccably dressed women wearing a kimono style Ankara top and black pants. We stayed there for 30 minutes before we were taken to our showers for quick baths. We were then asked if we wanted our complimentary tea before or after our massages. We decided before so we were taken to a beautifully decorated sitting area where we chatted and were served green tea.
After the tea we went for our massages in a nice room with music and candles. Our masseuses were the two women that had been tending to us since we arrived and mine was great. She was very polite and made sure I was comfortable. However sometimes she was a bit hard with the massage, but whenever I told her to calm down she did. After our massages we also had complimentary manicure/pedicure with an assortment of fruits (kiwi, pineapples, watermelon) and a cold glass of water. My sister and I chose a manicure and yet again the service was amazing.
In all I will say the complete package is nice and justifies the price, however the masseuses need to calm down; their hands can be a bit ‘hard’.
Beautiful ambiance, good service. If only I did not break out in rashes all over my face after getting a facial from the. Spent the next 4 weekends at the dermatologist’s. Will visit again for the body works but I’m definitely not letting them near my face.
