My partner and I were on the mainland and needed to grab a bite on a Sunday afternoon. We opted for indian and decided to check out Harzoyka indian restaurant in Ikeja, GRA.

Parking:

Harzoyka is also a hotel and has parking for about 10 or so cars within the compound. There’s also parking for another 6 or so cars outside.

Ambience:

I loved the outdoor space! Pretty much a hut with a bar, tables, chairs and fans! Emphasis on the fans! Indoor space looks like it needs a bit of tlc so we opted to sit outside.

Food, Drinks, and Service:

We ordered bottled beers which were served cool. Since it was hot we were hoping for really chilled beers.

For starters we got garlic naan and cheese naan (both were delicious) and the assorted meat platter (just ok). We quickly realized we’d ordered way too much food for two once our food arrived so we paced ourselves and then decided to share an entree. We opted for vegetable biryani (I really liked this) and prawn sauce (yummy sauce but didn’t like the prawns).

Service was Stellar! Everyone was super friendly! I should also mention that my partner and I were like the only Nigerians there. A lot of the patriots appeared to be a mix of Indians and Europeans. Plus, they all seemed to know each other. Regardless, the owner of the place came to introduce himself and even chat with us for quite a bit. He also made some recommendations on what to order and offered us some free meat tasters fresh off the grill. We felt super welcomed.

Overall Harzoyka Indian Restaurant Experience

I had a great time at Harzoyka and will whole heartedly recommend this place, especially for folks who really care about customer service!

Food looks good although I sincerely don’t like the ambiance. And it looks affordable as well. I should actually try it out soon.
