Swimming pool at the hotel

How did you hear about this service?

Found it on Jovago.com with standard rooms at 15k/night. We spent the week after our wedding at this hotel.

What were your initial expectations?

Basic standard room with nothing extraordinary; just as it appears on jovago.com.

How did you find / contact the business? How was the initial reception?

We could not locate the hotel so we called for directions, which they politely provided. On getting to the hotel, my husband and I examined the facilities they claimed to have on their website which includes: swimming pool, gym, and a spa. They had all this and the space was pretty clean. The room was just as we expected but with time we eventually settled in and fell in love with the simplicity of our room.

What did you like about this service?

What we loved the most was the location of the hotel. It is in a peaceful and coded area where one could go for a weekend getaway and easily connect to different parts of lagos whenever you are in search of noise. We were also concerned with security in that vicinity but we were assured that military men/officers were around the vicinity and on patrol at nights.

Room service was on point! All we had to do was put a call through and the next few seconds your order is at your door. We were highly impressed.

Rooms were also cleaned everyday and bedspread changed daily. We were also shocked that none of our valuables got missing even though none of our suitcases was padlocked.

Excellent customer service and would highly recommend to everyone.

What didn’t you like about this service?

The complimentary breakfast was too small abeg; 4 slices of bread, butter, fried egg (so delicious & neatly presented) and tea. In fact the truth is in terms of breakfast, they serve for one even though they are aware the room is being occupied by two people.

On the last morning before checking out, I was feeling so emotional and ordered for full English breakfast (which I paid for) in addition to the complimentary breakfast…don’t call us grubbers lol. I had high expectations of the English breakfast but to my surprise, it was the same complimentary breakfast with 1 sausage that was sliced into two halves and one strip of bacon. To me this is very tiny biko upon the name “full English breakfast”.

Asides breakfast, my husband and I found everything else satisfactory.
