I’ve known Ruth, the founder of ON-RU COUTURE, since childhood. She has always had a flair for fashion and designing but never knew she would eventually yield to her passion.
Unemployment in Nigeria is unbecoming, and several of us have had to deal with this situation, Ruth included. She finally got a job but the pay did not commensurate her duties/qualification. All the while she was in the job, she engaged in personal selling of accessories, shoes, supply of aso-ebi, etc. At some point, she realized she could do a lot for herself rather than being in a paid employment without satisfaction.
On-Ru Couture was birthed out of her desire to be an independent woman and pursue her passion. Ruth enrolled in a fashion school to upgrade her knowledge on the fashion industry. Over the years, On-Ru has grown in experience, customer relation management, trends and style. Their clientele span across several institutions ranging from bankers, doctors, politicians etc. On-Ru has also participated in some fashion shows in different parts of Nigeria. Their outlets are based in Illorin and Akure, but they deliver to Lagos.
Service/Pricing: On-Ru is prompt with delivery and customer satisfaction is paramount to the business. Most of their clients come from referrals. Pricing varies on the style but, in my experience, it’s very affordable.
Have you tried out On-Ru Couture in any of the above mentioned cities? What was your experience like? How would you rate the price/service? Please share your experience.
