I’ve always followed Posh Rawyalty Boutique on Instagram because I felt they had really nice things. I stumbled on their ads on instagram claiming to sell everything in the store for 1,000NGN per item, so as a shopaholic I decided to visit.
Location and Parking:
Pretty easy to locate. It is opposite Keystone Bank on Opebi Road, and there is parking for about 4 cars. Street parking is limited.
My Posh Rawyalty Boutique Experience:
The sales were to begin by 12 noon and I arrived by 12:15 pm. On arrival, I noticed some girls were coming out empty-handed. That should have been a red flag, but I still decided to check them out.
Getting inside, the shop was packed. Everyone trying to grab anything they could. I mean, everything in the store was going for 1,000NGN. I personally found little clothing items my size, so I grabbed shoes and clothing for my friends. The shoes were obviously used as they had scuff marks but I didn’t mind. The clothing items were just okay, definitely not authentic stuff tbh but I also didn’t mind.
There was a long checkout queue, but I also noticed people were dropping majority of their items, if not all and walking out. I was pretty concerned, so I asked the lady next to me. Apparently, the 1,000NGN sale was a SCAM and little or no items in the store cost 1,000NGN. There were some terrible looking tops though which should have gone for 1,000NGN. Apart from those, everything was priced normally. We were however informed of a 20% discount.
I had picked 6 items expecting to pay 6,000NGN, only to hear that my items cost 34,000NGN. The pair of shoes I selected was not added as the discount allowed for 3 pairs of scuffed shoes for 20,000NGN. First of all, immediately I entered the shop, I had enquired from one of the sales attendants and he assured me that everything in the store was going for 1,000NGN each. Anyways, I selected the only clothing item that fit me, a skirt, and it cost 5,000NGN, however with the 20% discount, I was asked to pay 4,500NGN. Payment was with POS and thank God, it was working.
Overall Posh Rawyalty Boutique Experience:
I will never patronize this store again. A lot of people including me were disappointed. People came from far and wide because of a scam. They apparently got called out on instagram and they responded rudely, calling the customers haters and deleting comments. Apparently, I hear, this is what they do all the time, and we never actually know because comments are deleted and no one talks about it. I also realized I was supposed to pay 4,000NGN since it was 20% discount. I sincerely hope the extra 500NGN adds value to their lives.
In conclusion, if you are a fan of authentic products, Poshrawyalty Boutique is not for you. Even their makeup products are fake. Their items are chinese products and it’s ridiculous paying such a huge amount of money for such crap. Poshrawyalty Boutique is a scam and I advice no one takes their promos seriously because you will be disappointed.
Terrible Quality. Yes i concur that their sales is a scam.
Posh rawyalty boutique is really a nice place, they are accommodative and always make the satisfaction of their customers the main priority, me and my friend have been there in a couple of times and what makes us attractive to that place is because of the way they treat their customers and we all know ladies always love to go to a place you will be treated like a queen. I really see no flaws in posh rawyalty boutique, they sells at a cheaper price and including all the staffs are really nice. My Instagram handle @oye6798
