While at L’Espace, a multi-brand concept store in Lagos, my friends and I noticed the Sweet Kiwi stand. My initial thought was they offered only kiwi-flavoured stuff, but I was quickly corrected upon getting closer.
We were greeted by Ehime, who we later found out is the CEO. We got chatting a little and she explained how she was in the US for training and all, and informed us on the discounts that were being offered. I was a bit hesitant at first because it was my first time trying frozen yogurt in Nigeria; however, I braced myself and bought a big cup with my fuel money. Although I had to go back to the ATM to pull out cash, the FroYo was well worth it. I was literally WOWED. And the service we received was up to par. See FroYo price listing (as of March 2013) below:
6oz cup —- NGN 750/cup
8oz cup —- NGN 950/cup
12oz cup —- NGN 1500/up
Waffle Bowl —- NGN 1100/cup
Waffle Cone —- NGN 900/cone
Since my first encounter, I’ve been to Sweet Kiwi on numerous occasions and tried more than 3 different flavours. I mean, FroYo is healthy food, right? And we should strive to eat healthy…lol. On a more serious note though, my best flavour is the Winter Watermelon. It is amazingly awesome! Sweet Kiwi also offers sweet, dry and healthy fruit toppings (non-fruit toppings also available). Healthy + Delicious + Fun treats = Guiltless Pleasures!

There’s also a Sweet Kiwi stand at the Palms Mall (on the genesis deluxe cinema floor), and the company caters events + offers delivery. |
Being that consistency is one of the biggest issues faced by food outlets in Nigeria, I really hope Sweet Kiwi maintains the high standard they’ve started out with.
PS: “Sweet Kiwi frozen yogurt contains healthy active cultures which aid digestion and boost the immune system. It is rich in natural calcium and vitamin C, and also contributes to colon health, decreases the risk of yeast infections and lowers cholesterol.” #teamhealthyliving J
