Teslim Balogun Stadium (TBS) is a bit more decent than the National Stadium , not so much different though. There is also a gym available. Good for those that care a bit about decency.
National Stadium is more historic, and its structure is still solid (even if the facilities are poor). National Stadium may be decaying, but the structure is still standing after so many years. Teslim Balogun, on the other hand, was recently constructed. Only time/the future will tell if Teslim Balogun was built properly and whether the management is effective enough to ensure its continued existence.
TBS Pro:
Good Football Pitch
Good Running Track
TBS Con:
Toilet is in poor condition (there may be good toilets available however these are either inaccessible, or just don’t existent)
Not enough sporting facilities and equipment for local athletes
To conclude, TBS needs to try more to ensure the structure lasts long and facilities don’t get run down like those at the National Stadium. However in my opinion, the National Stadium is still better, if not for anything, for the history it holds.
I remember when TBS was birthed, I fancied it for its beautiful, which I can’t really vouch for now. For the duration I visited the complex, it was aesthetically fine and had facilities.
